| Robin Lieske is a printmaker who specializes in copperplate etching. She'sbeen an artist as long as she can remember and, while growing up, was enthralled by the beautiful etchings done by an uncle that were all over the house. As soon as a real life printing press appeared in the mid-80's, Robin began her training with Yugoslavian visionary, Mirta Hamilton, and soon found her own vision. Robin has devoted herself since to the creation of images she hopes will bring the viewer closer to all things beautiful, mysterious and divine. She has a special love for angels and many of her themes are drawn from the love and respect that she has for these spirit workers. She believes strongly that art is a form of communication---one that can transcend the limits of words or thoughts alone---and can find its unique interpretation and expression in the heart of each person it touches.
